The study revealed that the highest number of couples, 42%, sleep facing away from each other, 34% maintain some type of contact, and 31% sleep on the same side throughout the night.

Likewise, it was reported that the closer they are when sleeping, the higher the degree of happiness and satisfaction of these couples. Even if they don’t have physical contact, sleeping on the same side is an indicator of a strong connection with their partner.

Therefore, if your partner turns their back on you while sleeping, it is also a sign that they respect your independence, but without neglecting the existing loving bond.
