Teaching your child to use the potty is a big moment in their life, but it can also be tricky. Many parents face struggles during this process, with some frustration and stress along the way. There are often tears, tantrums, and loud voices – and that’s just from the parents! But even though potty training can be tough, it is a goal that can definitely be reached with some patience.

For Dani and Matt DiVito, potty training their son was full of surprises. They found that, while the process was challenging, it could also be fun if they kept a positive attitude. They decided to capture the experience on video, which helped them remember the fun and laughter along the way.

When it came time for their son to learn to use the toilet, things took an unexpected turn. The little boy, wanting to make his father laugh, spoke in a funny voice. His father was surprised by the silly voice and couldn’t help but laugh.

The dad’s reaction was so strong that tears filled his eyes from laughing so hard. This caused a bit of confusion for the little boy, who thought his father might be upset. He had trouble understanding that his father wasn’t sad, even though his face was wet with tears.
