Celebrated actor has left us at 88

The entertainment industry reflects on the life and legacy of Harris Yulin, a celebrated actor whose career spanned decades. Yulin passed away on June 10 in New York City due to cardiac arrest, his manager Sue Leibman confirmed. He was 87 years old.

A Career That Spanned Genres
Yulin’s fiery performance as the judge in Ghostbusters II — the one who triggered a courtroom full of ghosts — remains unforgettable. But his range stretched far beyond that single scene.

He delivered standout roles in Scarface, Clear and Present Danger, and Training Day. In 1996, he earned an Emmy nomination for his guest role on Frasier, proving his versatility in both comedy and drama.
