Born to actor Bing Russell and ballerina Louise Julia Russell in Springfield, Massachusetts, Kurt Russell is battling Necrotizing fasciitis, a serious flesh-eating disease caused by various bacteria.

“Necrotizing fasciitis is a dangerous illness that can rapidly spread throughout the body, causing severe tissue and organ damage,” said the article.

This condition, believed to be related to PJS, has varying symptoms, from none to polyp growths in the small intestine, potentially becoming cancerous if left untreated. Early detection and management are crucial to prevent these polyps from becoming life-threatening tumors.
